Sarah with one of the many tulip statues across the city of Istanbul - this was inside the first courtyard of Topkapi Palace. Although many people around the world think of Holland when they think of tulips, our tour guide was quick to tell us that it is not a Dutch flower at all. The tulip is really native to Turkey!
